ultimatewiffler? Starting in 2011, we bring you the ultimate challenge.
Rules:

The Ultimate Wiffler tournament is a 1 on 1 single elmination tournament consisting of 16 players.

Entry to the tournament will cost $5 with half the total amount going to the league and the other half to the winner.

Sign up for the tournament will begin opening day and payment must be made at the time of sign up. The first 16 players to pay will receive an entry.

The higher seeded opponent may choose the location of the game if he wishes (it should really just be played whenever and wherever is convenient, games are relatively short).

First and second round matchups must be completed before the all-star break.

The Final Four will be played on All-Star Thursday to determine the champion.
Game Rules:

First and second round games will be two (2) inning games, with extra innings if needed.
- The Final Four and Championship games will be three (3) inning games, with extras if needed.

In order to win a game you must score more runs than your opponent, if each player has the same number of runs at the end of regulation than the tie-breaker will be total baserunners (hits & walks). If both players have equal runs and baserunners at the end of regulation than extra innings will be played until the tie is broken on total baserunners or runs.

In order to make an out in the field you must get to the ball IN THE INFIELD before it stops moving.
- There is no base running.

Any ground ball that is not fielded cleanly before it gets to the outfield is a single. Any ball that lands beyond the base paths in the air is a double. Any ball hit off the wall is a triple.
Any ball hit over the fence is a home run.
