Hitting
Omar had a huge break out year at the plate. He set career
highs in basically every offensive category. He was a huge driving
force behind the Angels offense. Don't underestimate him at the
plate, he'll crank one out.
Pitching
Omar had a couple of trips out to the mound in 2009. He filled in
very well when the Angels needed him. He set a career low with a
7.11 ERA using primarily slow sliders. Still, they were very effective.
Don't expect to see him out there that much in 2010 with the
emergence of Steve Weeks.
