Hitting
Scott had a very solid year smacking some wiffleballs. With his
patient approach, he was able to have a high OBP. He is a very
underrated hitter, as he was able to hit .366 for the first time in
his young career.
Pitching
It was a learning experience for Scott on the mound in 2009. One
of the bright spots was his high K/IP. He struck out more than one
batter per inning. The only thing that killed him was the long ball.
Scott averaged almost one HR allowed per IP. If he can keep the
ball in the park, he would be a good #2 pitcher for the O's
because he has strike out stuff.
