Hitting
Jesse's entering his 4th year of play and has put up some very solid
career numbers, last year he batted .313, drove in 23 runs and lead
the league in walks drawn for the second straight year. His stats
should only improve given the powerful lineup he will be a part of
2010.
Defense
Unlike the last couple years Jesse will probably not see much of the
mound in 2010 so he will become a good asset to the Rockies
outfield. As a veteran he avoids making stupid mistakes on the field
and could make a solid 1st baseman if the Rockies go that route.
