It’s hard to believe we’ve played almost a decade worth of games. Hess Field has seen it’s share of great games, unbelievable moments and unrepeatable individual performances. In 2009, we were privileged to be apart of ESPN radio for 25 minutes of live radio. This was one of the greatest moments the league has seen; until now.
With the help of Brian Sinkoff, our league has been invited to Joe Bruno Stadium. The Tri-City ValleyCats will honor the league champions and league leaders prior to the game. And if we are lucky enough, we’ll be able to partake in a little home run derby on the field for the league’s top home run hitters. And to top it off, a representative from the league will be able to throw out the first pitch of the game.
Last but not least, for only $25 bucks we will have access to the picnic pavilion for all-you-can-eat goodies and drinks. The $25 includes marinated chicken, hot dogs, hamburgers, salt potatoes, assorted salads, chips, watermelon, soda and water. The picnic runs for one hour before the first pitch. It also includes a reserved box seat.
The planned date will be in either July or August. We will keep you updated with further information. Our goal is to get at least 60 people to the game. Family and friends are welcome.
